How many?
Instead of having to have 2/3s of the states/houses think that it is necessary to make an amendment to the constitution, only 1/2 would be needed. And instead of 3/4 to ratify it they would need 7/8 to ratify the amendment. This would make it so that it would be easier to at least bring up an idea for an amendment. This way it would be easier to adapt to this widely changing nation, times are changing so the constitution should change as well. Some things in the constitution have not changed since it was written but many other things in this country have changed. Having to have 7/8 to ratify the amendments so that more of the states have to agree. There would be more amendments up for discussion, but it would take more to ratify it. So then more ideas would be put up for discussion so more ideas would be thought about and only the really good ones would actually be ratified.
